Youth dinghies: 420 and LaserThe youth fleet is made up of boys and girls aged 13 or older who want an introduction to the world of sailing, or want to continue in competitive sailing after completing the Optimist course.
The 420 is a type of two-person sailboat, with room for a skipper and one crew, whilst the Laser is a single-handed dinghy. The 420 and Laser fleets are both currently split into two groups, beginners and competition.
