Sailing

The sailing clubs of Arenys de Mar and El Balís have by mutual agreement drawn up a common calendar of Cruise Regattas for 2007 and established the following types of regatta, all held under the RN national rating system:

A) FLEET: inter-club regatta, open to all members of other clubs. RN and RN Club.

B) SOLO: open inter-club regatta, maximum of two crew aboard. RN and RN Club.

C) MENS/LADIES: open inter-club regatta. Crew of one man and one woman. RN, RN Club + TCF estimates.

D) CRUISING: inter-club cruise regatta, open to regatta yachts and visiting yachts. RNs + estimates.

E) OPEN REGATTA: Open regatta within the Regional Calendar. RN and RN Club.

All Regattas are run according to ISAF rules and regulations, the Reglamento Técnico de Cruceros 2007 established by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV), the Guia Esportiva 2007 of the Catalan Sailing Federation (FCV), RN measurement rules and regulations, ORC security regulations, and the GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS and Regatta Rules which each club may stipulate for any given regatta it organises; the said Regatta Rules will prevail over the General Rules and Regulations and are available to all regatta participants from the offices of the Club.
