1. Summer Solstive Fair: In the week of June 23rd, the Riera (the dry river bed) of Arenys de Mar hosts a fair with stalls selling arts and crafts. 2. St Jonhn's Eve: On June 23rd each year, a fiesta, dance and bonfire is held on Picordia beach. 3. Sant Zenon: July 9th is the Festa Major or annual festival of Arenys de Mar with fireworks, a fair and other celebrations. 4. La Verge del Carme: On July 16th, all the town’s boats take to the sea to celebrate the feast of the Virgin of the Sea. 5. Sant Roc: On August 16th, Arenys de Mar hosts another lively fiesta when traditional events include the young people of the town drenching passers-by with eau de cologne! |
