Arenys de Mar Sailing Club or CNAM was established in 1952 in the port of Arenys de Mar, an exceptional location on the Catalan coast owing to its proximity to the Costa Brava (13 nautical miles) and to Barcelona (22 nautical miles). It is the most sheltered port on Barcelona’s northern coastline.

CNAM’s objective is to encourage participation in water sports in general by offering a continuous programme of sporting activities and by regularly organising Catalan or Spanish inshore sailing championships for different classes such as Optimist, 420, Laser, etc. The club also organises cruise regattas such as Interclubs and the Copa RANC as well as regular social regattas at weekends.

Our sailing school, officially recognised by the Catalan Sailing Federation, is one of the best on the Catalan coast and boasts well-known sailors and yachtsmen and women amongst its former pupils.

CNAM is the ideal place to stop off for a pleasant stay on your way to France, Italy or the Balearics; all the facilities are available to members and visitors. Take a look at our web page for details.
